The Principal of Iligan Medical Center College – Basic Education Department (IMCC-BED), Mrs. Meriben Duque addressed the students and parents through a radio broadcast interview with Mr. Jose Dennis Mancia of Radio Pilipinas Iligan 105.5 DXDX on some updates regarding the Basic Education Department’s opening and new policies.

IATF iligan granted the request of ICAPESS( Iligan city association of private elementary and secondary schools) to allow parents to transact business in the school on the scheduled day of their respective home quarantine pass color coding following the protocols set by DOH.

The Basic Education Department will open Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM to transact business. The parent or guardian should present their Quarantine Pass upon entry and wearing of mask is mandatory along with other health protocols. To lessen the incidence of possible spread of any kind of infection they are advised to bring their own ballpen.

As the new normal is gradually being adapted the school administration are doing their best to conform to these changes for the safety and security of its students without compromising the continuity of learning, thus a blended  or distance learning approach will be utilized to accommodate the new normal.
